The team at Crest at Park Central downtown apartments in Dallas loves fall because of all the events that pop up every year. Dallas event planners can really show off their creative chops when the sweltering heat isn’t cramping their style. Is everyone enjoying the break from the heat that October weather brings? Maybe no one has noticed because we’re spending every weekend in front of our TVs watching football these days. Take it from the team at the luxury apartments Dallas prefers, there are good reasons to get out in the city this month!
Tacos are always a good reason to get out of the house. Why do we love tacos so much? Is it because they’re portable? Is it because ‘taco’ is a fun word to say? Whatever the reason you love tacos, Tacolandia has that special taco for you. On October 15th from 4pm – 7pm at City Hall Plaza you can enjoy endless (!!!) samples of the city’s best tacos. These tacos come from taco trucks, food stands, 5 star restaurants and hole in the wall diners. One thing remains constant though, they’re all delicious. It’s hard to find a bad taco in Dallas, and it will be impossible to find a bad taco sampling at Tacolandia.
An incredible light show is coming to Dallas on October 21st and 22nd from 8 p.m. to midnight both nights. Aurora 2017 will be even more awe-inspiring, with more artists and more installations coming next year. Don’t miss out on this awesome, free event taking place at the AT&T Performing Arts Center
This event really has the perfect name, because Park & Palette is as much about the venue as it is about the food and drinks. It’s not easy being a vegetarian in Big D. Sure, the city has gotten a lot more veggie-friendly in recent years, but vegetarians must get tired of hearing about the delicious BBQ every time a friend comes to town. Now finally, an event for vegetarians!
The Texas Veggie Fair is a free event “celebrating plant-based lifestyles of every kind” according to their website. An all-volunteer team sets this event up each year, all so patrons can enjoy food from tons of different vendors and learn about healthy eating options. The event is about more than just vegetarianism. There will be speakers, concerts, and fundraisers all with the goal of educating the public about living a more sustainable lifestyle.
